We have been exhibiting at the Autumn Fair in the Birmingham NEC from 6 - 9th September which has been very successful and we have many new contacts and possible leads.

This is the first time that we have done a show within the 'gifts' market and our Go Rock travel speakers and Greensmart neopreene laptop sleeves and bottle carriers featured on our stand with lots of interest from visitors and other exhibitors at the Autumn Fair.

According to the fair's own press release, attendance was at a staggering 28,757, up on the previous years' fair. This with over 500,000 products and 40,000 new launches designed to kick-start the home and gift industry in the run-up to the vital festive trading period.

Louise Young, managing director of Autumn Fair organiser Emap Connect Home & Gift, said: “Make no mistake, this has been a great show and hopefully signals a retail revival.

“Visitor numbers were up – despite one of the worst economic downturns since the Second World War. This is a huge tribute to our exhibitors. They have helped us to deliver an inspirational show, which has enabled retailers from the UK and overseas to find great product that will give them a competitive edge this Christmas and into 2010.”

Altogether, it was a great show and we hope to be able to appear at the next Spring Fair in 2010.
